First Excel Title, LLC is owned primarily by Stanley-Martin Communities, LLC, the parent company of Stanley Martin Companies, LLC, which does business as Stanley Martin Homes.

Customers of Stanley Martin Homes are invited to choose First Excel Title, LLC to provide real estate settlement services for their home closing, but are welcome to choose a different settlement service provider.

The Gramm-Leach Bliley Act generally prohibits any financial institution from sharing nonpublic personal information with a nonaffiliated third party. First Excel Title, LLC, as Settlement Agent, may collect nonpublic personal information from parties, consumer reporting agencies, others involved in this transaction (such as insurance companies, property owners associations, property managers, real estate agents or lenders), and/or affiliates of the Settlement Agent. First Excel Title, LLC may furnish copies of the settlement statement to any party entitled to a payment reflected on this settlement statement and its affiliates.

Furthermore, First Excel Title, LLC may share the settlement statement, title affidavits/certificates, and payment statements from parties listed on the settlement statement to any third party in order to reflect the satisfaction and/or non-attachment of an apparent lien against the Property.
